The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent. I had the spicy cauliflower salad, best main meal salad I've had in a very long time. Thank you to those working hard in the kitchen, much appreciated.
A relaxed and comfortable motel style accommodation. There are a range of rooms available from generously sized motel style rooms to more up-market rooms with modern bathroom and kitchette. The outdoor pool area is stylish. There is also a terrace overlooking the pool for drinks or just relaxing. Food options include a semi-formal restaurant, a bar with a small menu or room service. There is plenty of parking in a dusty car park. Located just across the road from the "American River" waterfront in a quiet area. Reception and restaurant /bar/breakfast staff are relaxed, friendly and professional. Mercure is a good base for exploring the island and all the natural attractions that the island offers.
We stopped in for a late lunch with our kids and dog. Jules was our waitress and served behind the bar. She was extremely friendly, offered to keep the kitchen open later as we were late to arrive, and her service was exceptional. Although not staying as hotel guests, we found the experience so nice that we will return for a staying holiday. Facilities look great too!

This is my 2nd stay at the Mercure KI and it was perfect once again! The rooms are clean and contain all the amenities you need. Food was delicious, we loved the pizzas! Location is peaceful and you won’t find a better sunrise on the island. Highly recommend
Good size rooms, kitchenette, large wardrobe, balcony, nice view, small bathroom. Breakfast was included & very nice, good size. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, steak was ok, vegetables were devine, but expensive. Cocktails were nice. Pool is salt water, very buoyant. Pool steps don't go low enough in the water, making it very difficult to exit. Car parks are too far from the units, have to carry luggage a long way uphill.
